Airport Information Desk and Facilities
Information and Help Desk There is a Welcome Center (tel: 704 359 4027) on the baggage level; it provides airport and tourist information. An information desk (tel: 704 359 4013) is also available on the ticketing level. Travelers' information desks can be found at each baggage reclaim area.
Airport Facilities Money and phone: The airport has a bank with bureau de change facilities and ATMs. Eating and drinking: There is a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and bars at the airport. Shopping: There are many shops at the airport; a duty-free shop is also available. Luggage services: Trolleys are available for a small fee. Other facilities: The airport also offers a 24-hour interfaith chapel, first aid assistance and family toilets.
Conference and Business Facilities There are various conference rooms at the airport, from small offices to an auditorium seating up to 80 people. Contact Host-Marriott Services (tel: 704 359 4483) for reservations.
Disabled Facilities All toilets and telephones are wheelchair-accessible; there are TTY-text telephones situated throughout the terminal (tel: 704 359 4837). Wheelchairs are available on request from airlines. Passengers requiring special assistance are to inform their airline prior to travel. Assistance carts for accessing areas of the terminal are available on request from Skycaps. Disabled car parking spaces with direct access to the terminal are avaialable in the hourly car park. The car park offering daily parking also has disabled parking spaces and is served by a wheelchair-accessible shuttle.
